My Own Shiva is the first metal band from Kyrgyzstan to perform at Wacken Open Air. The Kyrgyz metalcore band made history by winning the Wacken Metal Battle among countries of Central Asia, Turkey, and the Caucasus.

Thanks to this victory, the band received a unique opportunity to represent Kyrgyzstan on one of the largest heavy music stages in the world. That moment opened the international stage for the band and raised the flag of Kyrgyz metal to a global level.
